Jorge Weisz, CCE is a Mexico City–born and raised editor based in Toronto, Canada. He has collaborated with renowned directors and producers including Vincenzo Natali, Lorenzo Vigas, Jason Blum, Charles Officer, Christian Sparkes, and Lindsay Mackay, among others.
His work includes the award-winning feature Las Hijas de Abril (April’s Daughter), directed by Michel Franco, which won the Un Certain Regard Jury Prize at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. He also edited Danis Goulet’s Night Raiders, which premiered in the Panorama section at the 2021 Berlin International Film Festival and had its North American premiere as a Gala at TIFF.
More recently, Jorge worked on the series Cross for Paramount/Amazon, Steal Away, directed by Clement Virgo, and the Amazon/Lucky Chap/Fake Empire series Sterling Point, collaborating with Megan Park, Josh Schwartz, and Stephanie Savage. He is currently editing Mercenary for Netflix/AGBO with Glen Mazzara and the Russo Brothers.
